ultimate coffee mod star power and solos not showing

i got ultimate coffee mod and i see it supports starnotes so im using eof 1.71 and i got 2 starnote sections marked by selecting the notes and going to notes >star power kk so i got two sections like that and i did solo the same way.. but when i play them with the mod they dont show on screen they are saving to the notes midi file what am i doing wrong?

Actually, I'm not sure if the Ultimate Coffee's mod works with solo notations, that mod is based on Gh2, it wasn't till later that Alarian's mod of UC's mod then>MFH~Alarian> made it possible for solo's.

But what you truly are doing wrong, is using an outdated mod(outdated by a few years at that), try FoFiX-v3.121.

Its the combination of mods built upon mods, that make up FoFiX(which is why FoFiX source code is such a mess). BUT! Still stable enough to keep running.

In the past, other users identified FoFiX as the first version of Frets on Fire that properly supported user-defined star power. I'm not sure if UC mod does. You'd be better off getting FoFiX instead. It's old, but it's years newer than other versions/mods of Frets on Fire.

hey thanks for the reply guys i discovered i was way outdated im a little new to all this but im on the right track now.. im checking out some themes and stuff this is pretty cool i got rb2 and gh3 for 360 im using a 360 guitar which pretty much makes this a pc version of rb+gh so far its awesome i been working with fretting songs some and fretted a few gotta redo one of them though lol but hey thanks for clearing that up for me :D you guys rock!

put your fretsonfire.ini in the folder and you should be fine
