If the name is too long then it just adds .... to the end.
I know the song names have been coded to stay within their area without running off.
If it is possible to only add this to the RB2 set list that would be the best bet, I think, because the other set list views would not need this coded in. Right?
I mean we don't want to mess up anything.
=\

Oh and I don't know the proper term right off the top of my head, that is why I kept saying "Stay within their area".
If you need more of an explanation I can give it my best shot.

This isn't a major deal just thought I would mention it before the RB2 set list is considered complete.

Anywho, great job guys.
I havn't had any big problems with the alpha versions.
My only problem with the alpha versions recently was that it wouldn't allow me to play guitar and drums in two player.
I'm going to study the problem further though and give more details later when I have time.

I did this on purpose, as i think it looks terrible when every entry in the list is a different scale. some are big, some are small it just doesnt look as professional

Edit
Should be an update maybe the final one for now (as im ready to work on another issue  ) to the rb2 setlist this weekend, so if you know of any bugs that need fixing or features you want to see added tell me now.

Planned in update so far:

Song Icons.
Album Art Loading Optimization (only load emptylabel once, and some other stuff)
optional album art memory cache at load (will make loading alot longer, but setlist will be crazy fast after loading)
optional stars and other stats.

But some times, the band or artist name are out of the box too. How about make a marquee? Like if the band name is too long, the band or artist name will scrolling left to right and right to left. I think this is a great idea. :2thumbsup:

Have you tried changing the processor settings in task manager to be single core instead of dual core while playing FOF, that apparently helps some people as well.

I know your problem. Be sure to run in windowed mode for more secure. Is the game freezes when counting at 1 when the song started?

no
just very important lag (impossible to play cool for cats in easy [50 notes] :glare: )
i have tried with fullscreen and use maximal performance
work better (just a little) but lot of lag ......always.......

I browsed through the todo list and did not find this suggestion.

At the moment all the rips from GH and RB series are being updated. I was wondering could it be of any use to take the high scores and the tier information from 'song.ini' into seperate files? This how the updating would be more easy to people who like to keep their high scores without the need to copy the lines from old .ini to the new one.
I forget. LETS ROCK!

There was a thread or post somewhere were someone had written a quick VB app to grab old scores and parse them into the new .ini files.

I didn't care for my old scores, so I didn't bother to use it. But if you search for it you will find it.

I believe a marquee would be a great idea! =D
But would it cause lag in the set list?

Would anyone mind if I change issue 34 to force the theme.ini option if it's set in the theme.ini instead of having to switch to auto? That way themes can save on filesize by deleted files that the creators do not want included (such as my IndieJam theme, I only want the RB2 songdisplay used and not the others).

That sounds very excellent Blazingamer!

On the topic of the marquee, we could do it so that it only starts scrolling after a little while (ala highscore list)
Oct. 30th is Cama appreciation day!

Check out my first song: Snow (Hey Oh)
