So is anyone working on songs difficulty or album images? I am now reorganising my setlist and heres how Im doing it.
Folder named "Rb songs folder"

titles.ini

Code: Select all

[titles]
sections = title0 title1

[title0]
name = DOWNLOADED
unlock_id = dlc

[title1]
name = ROCK BAND 2
unlock_id = rb2

DLC song example
Folder name: "Blink-182 - All the Small Things"
song.ini:

Code: Select all

[song]
name = All the Small Things
artist = Blink-182
album = Abnormality Demo
year = 2007
genre = Metal
diff_guitar = 6
diff_drums = 6
diff_bass = 6
diff_band = 6
unlock_id = dlc

Will this work in the new setlist?
If my theory is correct, career will show the following:

SORTING: ALPHABETICALY BY TITLE---------------------------Guitar
(underlines commonly used by spammers)
|---------------------------|-------(Random Song)
|---------------------------|-------DOWNLOADED
|------album img-------|----All the Small Things---------------------------0
|---------------------------|
|---------------------------|
(underlines commonly used by spammers)
Blink - 182
All the Small Things
Metal
2007
DIFFICULTY
BAND 5 devil heads
GUITAR 5 devil heads
DRUM 5 devil heads
BASS 5 devil heads

Am I right?

I think it's kind of funny that you guys all want prettier graphics and better looking menus when all I want is the game to move at a steady framerate so I don't miss drum hits/notes I feel like I shouldn't be missing. I could care less what the game looked like as long as it felt good the play the song.

But the menus look great and the addition of the difficulty feature is pretty handy.

Have you tried mega light mod? or atleast lower the graphics and such to lowest as possible.

I've been working on it, and yes,MegaLight helps a bit. I just saw the wiki lag suggestions and those helped as well.

Turning In Game Stats off has also helped my framerate.

The thing that I've discovered that lowering the graphics does nothing for me. I have it set to 1920x1080 with 8x FSAA and it gets the same framerate as 640x480. (The last time I checked). The game is heavily [single-]processor dependent.

You really don't need a AA set to more than 2x in most cases. We allready know that it's quite cpu dependent. For me the thing that lags the most is text, but there's work being put on it. :)

Umm, is there any way to fret solo's in the midi without fretting starpower/overdrive? I'm lazy and just want to use auto-generated starpower and don't want to have to fret it myself.

Then just don't fret any SP at all.
It's really that simple.

I don't know if this is the place to put this sort of request, but I'm too lazy to make up a file (and am terrible at making crowd noises anyway).

So, does anyone have a crowd cheering sound that:
- is in the moment (ie, cheering just because the song is playing, not applause for a solo, etc)
- is loopable (not too short as to be very noticeable and lacking very distinct noise)
- doesn't sound too sudden (though this is less important)
- is high-quality and free

I may do it myself at some point, but perhaps someone is just sitting on this file.

A semi crosspost with Issue 85.

I hate waking up early on a Saturday.
