best probably to upload it to somewhere like mediafire and post the link. I also remember hearing about websites whose sole purpose is to paste large chunks of text to link of forums and such...

Anyways, it'll be helpful to us if we know what your log file looks like, if you're having problems.

EDIT: Why is it randomly submitting my posts when I'm not finished typing them? It's happened 4 times today on various forums! >_> Anyways...

About the BlackSOD, as one user pointed out (privately), this could very well be a racing conditions. I've started to do some tests last night by setting some threads to be synchronous instead of asynchronous. I'll do more tests when time will permit.

Question: Can lower HOPO threshold (less HOPO) defined in the song.ini? I don't want to waste my time changing it in options just to play Welcome Home and Snow ((Hey Oh)) like in RB.

@MFH/evilynux/anyone : Could it be possible to modify the career mode parsing, so that unlock_ids such as "gh2_1.5" would be recognized as "gh2_1" (i.e. skipping what's after the period)?

The encore with "unlock_require = gh2_1" would then only unlock after songs with ids "gh2_1.x" have been completed (in this example, after "gh2_1.1", "gh2_1.2", "gh2_1.3", "gh2_1.4", and "gh2_1.5").

It'd allow us to have the songs correctly sorted within each tier (since they're currently ordered by their unlock_ids, then by their name IINM), while at the same time giving us more flexibility with the encores (e.g. an encore with "unlock_require = gh2_1" would unlock only after completion of every song with unlock_id set to "gh2_1.whatever", and an encore with "unlock_require = gh2_1.2" would only unlock after the song with "unlock_id = gh2_1.2" has been completed).

Why? The game sorts by name, so add a number + period in front of the name. Then the game automatically filters out the sorting numbers when displaying the song names. So, I ask again, why? This is unnecessary complication - unless there's another reason for it that I'm not seeing.

And yes, I'm still taking a break...

edit: what the hell is ghmidimap.txt used for? I don't think it has any bearing on the actual game :)

ghmidimap.txt is used for when you are using the game to rip the GH songs off the GH disc. So really it's pointless. :p

Um, what exactly did you fix with the failed screen again? That is LITERALLY the EXACT same file. I'm confused ??? Same filesize, same exact even zoomed in while flipping back and forth.

im very sad icant play new rock band songs , specialy since ive never had a problem with any RF-mods
