Alarian mod v2.7 - Full release

indeed, looks like they complete the drum mod for Alarian's next release. Good stuff!

I'm amazed at how fast we tossed this drum mod together. Two days ago I had no idea where to even start

Also re-layred the starpower charge effect for the Gh3 theme with the crowd sound from the RB theme, so now the crowd screams while still hearing the charge up of the SP after hitting starnotes...

Kinda puts some crowd sounds into the Gh3 theme..

Here are some drum hit flames I made up. I was trying to get it to look like the note was breaking apart

couple things, you may or may not know.

Flames...are off. Most flames are'nt aligned with the keys, but that's kinda obvious, so either you knew that, or its something with my fof.

also, what about scores for drums? It seems to still upload the scores, but it puts them with all the normal guitar scores.

I just installed the 2.63, 2.63b and the fresh hotfix. Now I can't select the songfolder. It just keeps asking for me to give the folder where i store my songs.

[EDIT] I restarted the game and it started working..

I don't have 2.63b to upload right now, but I'm uploading 2.63b+hotfix #7. Hopefully it uploads fine because I have to let it go while I go to work. If you really need 2.63b without the hotfixes, I'll take care of that when I get home.

I already did that in my Hybrid MOd -- I was going to ask Alarian to include it in the next hotfix :p

really loving the drum mode, great work

someone mentioned making some drums out of a ddr mat, anyone know if theres any guides around for buiding your own drums, the best i could manage is a set of keyboard bongos, the result of spare keyboards, cardboard and bluetack, not the most impressive setup but the results are quite fun

No idea. Never done anything like it before. But t doesn't seem like it would be that hard<.< You could try hooking up buttons from radioshack or something, to each key. And just place something on top of the buttons, so when you hit the thing, the button gets pressed, pressing the keys, hitting the note. :p Just make it someone sensitive. (Keep in mind, i'm just guessing at stuff) xD

Probably would suck at first, but once you get it to work, you could add more to it and such to make it sturdier and work better and such. Even make it look better and things :p

i also think it'd be great if someone post a guide on how to build a drumkit, i know it shouldn't be that hard but help will still be great for those with limited technical ability (like me...).
