Thanks once again for the detailed bug report... you're pretty much my main HOPO pattern / technique bug tester
I'm downloading the new link and will look into this issue.
Looks like it huh? XD
I guess it helps that I have experience with debugging stuff (Game Maker: I worked with it for 5-6 years now. I made a FoF .mid loader with it, but no gameplay).
The "More" hopo setting is 1/8th notes right? If so, I can check out how BPM processing is on that setting. I don't know what "less" would be though. =/
Also, it might be an isolated incident, but I'm getting "invalid mode: rb" after a song. It's not a game-breaker (unlike invalid literal: null XD ).
EDIT:
myfingershurt wrote:I just tried to see SpikeHead's latest bug for myself, but could not see anything wrong. Perhaps I need more detail exactly what to do? I was using GH2 Sloppy with After-Chord HOPOs On, and when a pattern comes up in Chord Test 2:
G G G
R R R R R
I hold G + R and strum on each note and don't miss one.
What should I be doing differently to reproduce the issue you were talking about?
General notice: Loading time is directly related to feature preparation for a particular theme. I am not planning to do any work on decreasing loading times. My plans involve ensuring the game works, and that gameplay is as fun and accurate as possible.
Please do your best to isolate bugs before reporting; if a certain setting causes a problem for you, it helps me a LOT more to know what setting that is. It will also help me determine what follow-up questions I should ask to further pinpoint the issue.
If you are satisfied to play with settings until it works, and then not take note of exactly what setting(s) fixed the problem, then chances are that bug will continue to go unnoticed.

I use GH2 Strict (as always), the standard hopo setting, and a wide hitwindow. I know there's more, let me check here really quick.
