Just copy the files into your song directory and start getlabels.exe ... now he will coping labels from a server into your song folders.

Me and someone else (Raph, maybe?) tried to make this work with a database for cds earlier, but we couldn't get it to work... I solved it now, but I have nowhere to upload the list (my host puts text ads on all pages). I'll post again when I find a solution.

Hey, I'm the guy who made this :p
It pulls the files from winniez label collection, and he did a little work on his end to help get it working as well.
Glad to see that people are still using it; really it was only a quick hack to see if it was possible.
EDIT:
Hey TypusMensch; I was just looking over the forums (not been here for a looong time) and spotted your song manager. Looks brilliant; feel free to cannabalise my code into yours.
Oh and btw the latest version I remember making (with source code included) is at http://mihd.net/zdw6n9 -- not sure if that's an old buggy version floating around you've got there or not...

Posted here as well as the original thread to make sure it's seen... given that I bumped an eight-month old thread to post the problem, it may not be read...
Building song list...
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "getlabels.py", line 58, in ?
parser.read(inifile)
File "ConfigParser.pyc", line 267, in read
File "ConfigParser.pyc", line 490, in _read
ConfigParser.ParsingError: File contains parsing errors: C:\Games\FOF\data\songs
\GH1\symphonyofdestruction\song.ini
[line 8]: '\x00[\x00s\x00o\x00n\x00g\x00]\x00\r\x00
'
[line 15]: '\x00'
I'm using v1.3.
EDIT: Turns out that the song.ini was read-only... replaced it with a new one and it all worked.
