i went out on sunday and bought GHII for the PS2 because i wanted a practice mode. i have gotten a lot better on fof and have even modded my f5 key to have the same spacing as the f1-f4 keys, but i wanted more. i want to know which of you are the sell outs? i know that there are people here that got fof after they got ghII, but i want to know which of you bought the game after learning some of the ways to play (thanks for the hopo, RF), because you couldn't do any better?

there is a tournament for 1 large coming up in my neighborhood and i wanted to get as good as possible, so i got this game for the practice mode.

i still love fof for the other songs, but the gh and ghii songs , to me are worth the money..

Well, I played FoF before, but it had so much lags (thanks to my outspaced hard disk) I stopped.

When I got GHII, I was surprised on how much better I could fare on it than in FoF. So much so that, in the 10 days I own it (not counting the weekdays, when I don't play), I managed to beat Medium 5*'ing all songs, though I only nailed two 100%'s to date: WWIMRLN on Easy (April 6) and Strutter on Medium (April 13).

I only discovered this game because of GHII on 360. My brother bought it last weekend and we instantly got hooked. I decided to search and see if there were any plans for GH being made on the PC. I figured, highly unlikely since many games are made for consoles and rarely ported to PC. After a very short search, I found FoF. So, I can honestly thank GHII... because if it wasn't for that, I wouldn't have found this community.

Bit to answer the original question, no I personally don't think you're a sell out. Since you're still participating in this community, and not bashing it or flamin, then I would say you're still good in my book.

I like playing both games. I refuse to buy a console, so I like to play FoF to get my practice... then when I go over to my brothers, I play GH and try to show him up.

I refuse to get GH or GH2 for one reason, I will not give money to sony to buy a PS2. For my reason, which I won't go into here because I don't want to start a debate that no one will change their minds about, I have a strong dislike for Sony. I would get a Xbox 360 and GH2 if I had the money and the GH2 controllers for the 360 weren't crap.

I like the 360 controllers but they weren't made well. They, from what I've read, break within a few hours of use. Replacing them doesn't help because then the replacements don't work.

Same. I hope someone ports FoF to the xbox. That would be awesome. I wonder if the USB adapters for the GH guitars would work on the xbox?

yes, i have the redoctane adapter, and it works on the xbox.. but something would have to be done to make it read the guitar in the game

i can use a PS2 Controller on my xbox as the adapter box says or the gamecube for that matter..

I like both systems. I prefer Playstation over xbox any day, it doesn't mean I wouldn't own an xbox, which I do, though the only fun i've ever had on an xbox was playing halo
