Postby Russell_GuitarGuy » Mon Sep 28, 2015 9:17 pm

Hey, guys. Is it possible to create multitracks for custom songs? I wanna use use reaper to edit the songs so I can separate the parts for each instrument.

There are methods to make guitars or another instrument louder, but it usually does a poor job. But to answer your question, no, you cannot separate a song into multitracks.

Here's an example I've actually heard someone say before about this same question.
Think of it like a bottle of water with the kool-aid powder mix.
Once you mix it together, can you un-mix it? The answer is no.

I got the guitar track out of Buried alive but you can still hear the other stuff abit.

But it was good enough to use it for a custom.

Cool. Sure I'd like to listen to them. Thanks. :)
