How to calibrate lag. Works every time.
Go online and Google the brand of your product and the model number, and search for response time. It shoudl give you a number and put that in for your A/V delay and whala.
This also works for TVs with other music games like GH or RB.
Now for RB, some of the games, like band based ones only do by 5's. So you can only go to 5, 10 15, 20 etc. If it's soething like 8, just round up to ten. If its 6 round down to 5. You won't see a difference or notice it unless your a robot.
If you happen to get a half number, such as 6.5, either go to 7 for GH, or 6 for GH, to 10/5 for RB. Tinker with it and see what is best for you. Unless your TV is extremely old, nothing will go over 50.

When using PC you're hardware is probably the biggest reason for any off-set, so that' doesn't help too much.

:o
I'll try this the next time I get a chance. Hopefully this will fix all my annoying misses.

How do I set the values if it's like GH:WT, where it lets you choose both audio and video delay?

Re: How to calibrate lag. Works every time.
@Heka
That is probably true for PCs.
@Susa
If your running sound and video through an HDMi cable out the back of your system, put the single value in both. If your running just video from the HDMI and audio out the analog, set the sound to 0 and the put the response time value into the video.

As stupid as it sounds, it actually works.

Would you know how to do it with Guitar Hero 2 on a flatscreen? Since you can't adjust the values yourself...

@T3HM3T4L
For 360 or PS2? I only have it for PS2, but it doesn't work anymore.
@Asskickulater
I can't take a look. Since I'm running Vista and you're running 7, there shouldn't be to many differences within OSes.

PS2. The only option you can get for calibrating is for it to adjust after you did the clicking test. Do I search for the delay on the specific tv model and just try to get as close as possible?

PS2, no matter what, will never be right on. I tried with Rock Band 2 and the video was off regardless. You won't get it...
