Is fretsonfire.org covered by some proxy or something, to block government services like the RIAA come into the site and infiltrate users or something? Or is the site open, and if it is what are ways to upload a song or album for free, without risk of being fined? Thanks,

THERE IS NO PROTECTION. If you have downloaded any music from this website and this site was to be reviewed by the law in any matter YOU WILL BE FOUND AND ARRESTED. There is no way around it besides NOT ILLEGALLY DOWNLOADING PROPERTY.

There are worse sites on the internet... I'm considering doing like ScoreHero and only uploading charts. You have to provide your own audio and sync it yourself.
