Just wondering... i personally have found that i do better at FOF on solos and do worse on the verses. wierd huh?

Also we have determined that most of the ppl on this forum don't play fof.

Had to put guitar cause its so much more intricte. However, in terms of run downs, then probly FoF/GH cause you dont have to do real pull off. But still, guitar.

FOF is more fun, but on real guitar you make your own sound. They're 2 completely different things.

(even though i dont play guitar) with a guitar, you dont have a screen to tell you the rhythm. In guitar, however, if you start a "long note" a split second late, you still hear it and your rhythm can be slightly off while still hearing the entire song.

Guitar. You don't have to play as fast as you do in FoF on a real guitar. The song would still come out correct only if a bit slow, timing and spacing between the notes are more important.

Guitar. Much easier to play fast with being able to do real hammer ons an pull offs. You also don't have to pick so many notes. You only have to pick once until you need to change strings. Plus, with guitars you can do bends. I always catch myself trying to bend the buttons on my guitar while playing FoF xP. I can also make Bark at the Moon sound more like the album version than the guy who played it for GH1 except for the solo xP.

Hmmm, which am I better at? FoF.
Which do I enjoy playing more? Guitar.

(I too am better at solos than verses, I thought it was just me :p)

Goodbye everyone. It's been fun. I spent many many hours here on these boards and playing/contributing to FoF. Today I uninstalled my game and deleted all my files. I just don't have the time or interest anymore. I won't be coming back here anymore. I might show up in the IRC from time to time to chat. I regret nothing.

So long, farewell.

XD
They should add support for button bending by using the keys below your fretkeys, so if you used "1", you'd bend it with "Q".

XD, bending the buttons.
