Yeah i cant seem to figure out how to work the notes that go like so...

X, C, V, B.

If your "image" is right, you should play:
G, R, G, (keep holding G) strum, G, R, G, strum, and so on.

G = green, R = red

Yeah i tried that, i guess is should just practice more, cause i cant seem to alternate my fingers right.

Yeah, songs that have such "hold down one fret, alternately strum with other fret pressed down" are real **** for me as well. I ace pretty much all solos of Cream - Crossroads but the verse parts that have the Red - Blue alternations destroy my scores.

What we're talking about are not hopos, they're normal strum chords but they alternate with strum single notes all the time.

My vagina also gets confused sometimes, this is especially true of the messy GH3 midis that have hopos followed by strums followed by strums oh god what is this

its just going to be down to practice, im afraid. When i get to them sorts of runs of notes, i mess up the first couple of notes, get the next 10 or so, then mess it up again
I think most people struggle with them, even if its just a little.
