When I type in C:\Program Files\FretsOnFire 1.2.451 in my Run box, it finds my Frets on Fire perfectly fine.

Until you can do the same with your Command Prompt, please don't bother me with the problems you're having.

I too am having problems... mine says it can't read the .ini file. And I seem to never have problems with most stuff so don't assume I'm making **** up. If you make something, you should expect some others to have a little trouble despite how it works on your individual computer, no offense.

Could you copy/paste your debug window? That's what it's there for :)

--Also, several people (Including Rogue-F himself) posted in this topic about kpchad and how nothing works for him. I spent hours trying to figure out his problem and it turns out it wasn't my fault at all. Sorry if I came off as a little rude >_>

I saw some similar error reports so I apologize if this has been covered before.

Try putting your folder name in quotes:

Code: Select all

cd "Program Files\Frets on Fire 1.2.451"

Also, you can try this:

Code: Select all

cd\
cd Program Files
dir

Do you find the FoF folder and how it's named?

One other question - Why your folder is named "FretsOnFire 1.2.451" on your screenshots but you are trying to enter the folder "Frets on Fire 1.2.451"? Is there such folder at all? The first one is without spaces. Space matters in folder names.

Don't bother. I gave up on this. I don't care about it anymore.

I'm closing this and posting a new thread with my latest version. Hopefully all of the major bugs have been squished and I can focus on new features, like the Playlist feature I just implemented. Try it out!
