Just so everyone knows, for Macs and Linux, you can use FL Studio on Wine or Darwine.
Blackfriday and I figured it out.
BTW, Thanks Nobby!
I'm going to test it out now.

As long as you get the "silent gap" at the start of the song spot on, so the first note in the midi hits at the same time as in the audio, gettting the tempo shouldnt be too hard ( esp if you know what the tempo of the audio file is, quite often the midi isnt the same as the real audio track) then its usually just a case of shuffling small sections of notes if they drift out of synce.

I just wanted to say thanks for the tutorial. Not only is it useful for fretting but it makes changing the difficulty of a song a breeze as well.

This looks like more fun than a toranado in a trailer park.

I got the FL Studio XXL, time to get busy.

Soundgardenizing.

I'm starting tho think ive been on the moon, buried to my neck in moon crust, with a pail o'er my head.... Ive been playing this on Xbox 360?

And I couldve been MAKING them!

- I suppose I'll make an introduction here, Hi. This is a really nice set-up here, being a fan of PHP myself, and BB Code, ..um,.. and xhtml ( HTML was fired )
I'm all into Rockband TONS more than GH, I liked the fact I could sing and push buttons at the same time. Some of us may have crossed paths. We played A LOT of foks. I formed the band Alice Mud Garden.

Needless to say, you'll be seeng tons of grunge out of me.

I'm Rivers.

Nice to meet you guys/girls.

( If I posted in the wrong area here, I apologize, I didnt notice an introduction thread, not to mention the distraction , I felt like I was at best buy with a " you may have anything you want " card )

Welcome, LTL.

Anyways, why I posted:
I'm trying to fret Kashmir by Led Zeppelin using this tutorial, and its set at about 80bpm. Every 10 seconds or so, I need to readjust the bpm to get the timing right! Plus because the mp3 that's playing is an audio CLIP, I have to go all the way back to the beginning of the song to begin listening if I got it right - especially horrible when I'm in 2 minutes. Every time I wanna check, I have to listen to the correct 2 minutes before I can get to the part I want to be at! Any help?
I forget. LETS ROCK!

Is there a way to add (solo)sections in FL?
I could do it EOF but it messes up the midi file...
