Ya, I saw this in Wal Mart a couple months ago and thought about getting it and then realized that it would be a lot more fun to just pick up a real guitar and jam along with music, which is all this thing lets you do.....just **** and with only four notes.

while that sounds kinda cool, i really don't see it picking up too much fandom. i mean, you have guitar hero which is still so freaking bad ass. and then there is frets on fire where you can plug your ps2 or xbox 360 controller in and shred to just about any song you like. maybe im just missing the point of it but it doesnt appeal to me

yeah but it's for your ipod!!! :p they would probably have problems with red octane if they put five frets on it.

Where the hell did you see "autofretter"? It isn't "interactive" at all. Scrolling frets do NOT appear on your ipod. It's just another toy guitar like the ones in Wal-Mart that people here keep making into controllers. You push a chord and strum and TADA! A synthesized note comes out. The only difference is that this one has more settings and no speaker of its own. It connects to any music source with a 1/8" output jack and plays its own crap OVER the source music. There is no way, aside from musical knowledge, that you can tell which chords to play when.

Synopsis: dumb overpriced toy taking advantage of the combined popularity of ipod and Guitar Hero. Notice the white plastic shell, blue lights, lowercase "i" in the title, and stunning resemblance.

there is this popular myth , that when a product says, its for an ipod, it will only work on an ipod, that is sooo wrong. my bro's car stereo is ipod ready!!! that just means it has an input jack socket on it. ive seen variouse toys that are " for an ipod" when in reality you can just plug them into anything audio related that has an input socket on it, remember an ipod is basically just an mp3 player, in a fancy white/black box and can store more music than the £30 mp3 player from the market. its not a computer, it cant run games, its just a plain old crap mp3 player. most of the toys will work on a home stereo system. so yeah i think if i wanted something like that guitar, id go to the local kiddies toy shop and spend £10 on a noisey **** toy guitar and have just as much fun.

And then after you're done playing the crappy toy guitar, rip it apart and turn it into a FoF controller! :D

GH for IPod...I'm not convinced...Moving on...
