You know, I very very seldom flame on anyone. No matter what their age, sex, etc. I try to treat everyone on this forum the way I would like to be treated. But when the top thread is "STICKY: Guide To Making Your Own Song for Frets on Fire" and then you still ask how to make a song in FoF..................

You're right, HeruLuingul, we regress. Maybe it would be best if we all just ignore this thread and let it fade into oblivion.

I'm pretty sure he isn't. I wouldn't be. But I'm here after all so...
if you don't put a screen up, people won't waste 2 mins to download it, extract it into mods folder, start the game, mess with the settings, choose a song to play it in. Because internet folk are a lazy breed. Without a screen, we can't be guaranteed it's worth our while, so we won't download it.

I just made my first song but when I found it in the game I got an error saying: Couldn't find data/songs/nutcrackersuite/guitar.ogg

i can easily imagine my self playing that song in FoF lol.

...Would that song even work? ??? Ah well it might be fun.

The song's "Wizards in Winter" by Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Sometimes known as Wizards OF Winter.

Errrrm guys.... you know we have been complaining about people not searching for things on the forum, Lol you are now guilty of that very crime.

Wizards in Winter is available for download from the tune trading section, in fact there are at least 3 Trans-Siberian Orchestra songs available, i know coz i down loaded 3 from here.
Shame on you for not using the Image Button.

Lol :D

I never complained at the guy. I just commented on scutch's reply about the song.

And I'm sorry I don't search like crazy everytime I think about posting a simple reply. Even if I had searched for the song, though, the board's default search doesn't date back long enough to even include the song's topic. Yes, the search button is a great feature, and it should be used before creating a topic about something as common as "how to create songs for FoF". But a Trans-Siberian Orchestra song isn't exactly that common.

I'm sorry that my comment bothered you to the point that you had to rudely accuse me of something I didn't even do.
Goodbye everyone. It's been fun. I spent many many hours here on these boards and playing/contributing to FoF. Today I uninstalled my game and deleted all my files. I just don't have the time or interest anymore. I won't be coming back here anymore. I might show up in the IRC from time to time to chat. I regret nothing.

So long, farewell.

jake2k3: that song should be in the "tune tradin'" part some place!

...What?
I know it's in tune tradin', all the songs are. I don't understand what point you're trying to make here.

Set it to search "From The Beginning"

Yeah I figured that much out, I was simply making a point.

The song's a little out of sync, BTW.
