What is the best version of fof

I have just found out that I have the wrong type of fof mine is very buggy and sucks Im looking for one that most mods will work on some1 help please




no mods like that will work on my computer for some reason perferrablly the basic game

Go to FOF Mod and Discussion
Download Alarian Mod
It's GH1,2,3 and RockBand
It's a stand alone Version

But Download 1.2.451 if you want Regular Mods to be installed

yes it does! for some people it laggs more than many of the other versions!

You seem to think the Alarian mod is the greatest thing since the **** was invented. unfortunatly what oyu think and what is true are not the same thing! if alarian mod was the best thing you can use EVERY body would be using it. and they dont!

Everybody has different results with each different version. so there is no definative answer to What is the best version of FOF. the best we can offer is. what is the most stable version ( which would be Rfmod ( thats been proven ) ) then its just a case of what is the user looking for in his game. personally all i want is to be able to play the songs with a toy guitar! what the picture looks like in the menu or the game background doesnt really make much of a difference to actual game play! but some people are different, and would like a fancy picture or such for there game.

To the original poster.. our idea of best version and yours may differ greatly, your best bet is look in the Mods section and have a read of what some of the different mods do, and decide from there.....

What is it with you and note windows?? I don't really know about them or care about them.

I've played with all versions and my conclusion is 1.2 with RF Mod.

Although I use Hering mod and Alarian, Hering for drums, Alarian because I can costomize it.

I'm going to download 1.2 with the RF for Mac when I get round to it,

I'm not upgrading my Alarian until it has drums...

Stick with RF 1.2.451. It might not look as good as Alarian but it's reliable, consistant, doesn't lag, fun and it doesn't require a daily hotfix to play.

What is it with you and note windows?? I don't really know about them or care about them.

Hit Windows is a big part of the game, it actually makes if your going for a FC or highscore an even greater chance than barely being able to hit anything

I have seen this link before, but i do not see any place where you can actually download release 1.2.451 with RF-Mod. Can someone please tell me where to get it?
