Re: FoFiX v3.1xx development thread
hello, first of all this is a really great game. thanks for developing it  i have a question regarding the memory glitch. as i know this only affects python 2.4 because it has this memory bug. wouldn't this bug be fixed if fofix would be compiled with a newer version of python (2.6/3.0) ? ...

Re: Installing songs into the mac version of FoFIX
You put the songs in the songs folder inside the application? Maybe check the the setlist path is correctly set in the game. Or check in your fretsonfire.ini that the base_library setting is pointing to the directory of your "songs" directory.

Re: rock band 2 theme solo section too bright
If you run FoFiX from svn, you can adjust the neck transparency by going to "Display -> Fretboard Settings -> Change Neck Transparency". That would let you see the notes easier during starpower.

Re: FoFiX v3.1xx development thread
A while ago, I posted that I couldn't upload high scores. Slantyr also mentioned that he couldn't upload on a python 2.6 version. Does anyone know if it's possible that we can't upload because we're using hashlib instead of sha? I was thinking that it probably generates a different hash or somethin...

Re: EOF problem Mac?
When you first open EOF, you will be inside the eof.app. Just keep double clicking on the "../" until you get out of eof.app.
You can't close eof with the red x in the corner of the window. You have to select File -> Exit to quit.

Re: FoFiX v3.1xx development thread
I crash after selecting a player too, but I'm using a Mac with python 2.5. The log file doesn't have any information, but my Console gives the following: 3/16/09 7:48:55 PM [0x0-0x2b02b].org.pythonmac.FoFiX.FretsonFire[346] Traceback (most recent call last): 3/16/09 7:48:55 PM [0x0-0x2b02b].org.pyth...

Re: GH3 Theme Won't Work on a Mac
Are you pasting the 3.20 files over the 3.0 files correctly? You have to be careful with folders when copying files on a mac. For example, with the menu folder that is included in the 3.20 update, if you paste that in the GH3 theme folder, it will completely replace your existing menu folder. You wi...

I updated the first post with up modified versions of Wiitar that I put together so that I could use my Wii GHWT Guitar and Drums with FoF. Wiitar isn't the most customizable program, but it's the only thing I could get to work with Wii GHWT controllers. I'm still looking at Darwiinremote, but I cou...

Re: FoFiX v3.1xx development thread
Now, I got it. We have to use 2.6 now. I can't update my SVN because I'm still using 2.4. I hope 2.6 runs smoother! I don't think you have to use python 2.6 yet. It should still run with python 2.4 as long as you have the correct dependencies installed. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I'...
