Edit the ogg and increase the speed a little. You may have to do a little math to find the right percentage to change it by (44100 is X% of 44800). When FoF plays the ogg, it changes the speed it plays at and the pitch if the ogg isn't set at the right sample rate. Does the song play at normal speed...

What version of FoFiX are you using? The newer versions seem to cause lag for some users. Version 3.030 runs perfectly on my computer. Try downloading that version and playing with the video settings again. I am pretty sure that the x-plorer guitar isn't causing your lag.

Try changing your video settings. If that doesn't work, you can try using a megalight theme. If it still doesn't work well after that, you could always go back to FoFiX 3.030. It doesn't have most of the new features, but it runs very well, even on an old computer like mine (getting close to 8 years).
