Re: your favorite songs to play on FOF

I enjoy playing most of the Rock Band songs on FoF. I can't really pick a favorite song, but certain songs are really fun. Carry On Wayward Son (RB2) is the funnest song I can think of for full band play. For guitar, I would have to say that Laid To Rest is pretty fun. For bass, I would have to go w...

Re: Hi, there :) can u help me plz?

Based on what I read in /******READ THIS POST BEFORE POSTING IN THIS SECTION!******\, you should try a different version of FoF. I suggest trying FoFiX 3.120 final found here:http://code.google.com/p/fofix/downloads/list
Make sure you try py2.4 and py2.6.

Re: FoFiX 4.0.0 Development Thread

@Barbalbero - As far as I'm aware, the biggest plans for 4.0.0 are to rewrite a bunch of code which will hopefully (fingers crossed) result in both a performance boost AND a bunch of new features for themes. I'm looking forward to the performance boost. I haven't been able to use any of the new ver...

The only member I can think of from the top of my head would be death_au. He has helped the FoF community in so many ways.

Re: Screen problem

I believe that you may be able to fix this by updating your graphics drivers and making sure that your display is set to 32 bit color. This was copied from /******READ THIS POST BEFORE POSTING IN THIS SECTION!******\ : Then you need to update your graphics drivers, and make sure your desktop color q...

Re: FoF Songs on DVD

FoF has to write your high scores every time you finish a song, so putting your songs on a DVD/CD isn't the best thing to do. Why don't you try using a USB memory stick? A 1GB memory stick shouldn't cost more than $10. You could just put FoF along with some of your favorite songs on the USB, then pl...

Re: FoFix Slowing the Song Down?

Edit the ogg and increase the speed a little. You may have to do a little math to find the right percentage to change it by (44100 is X% of 44800). When FoF plays the ogg, it changes the speed it plays at and the pitch if the ogg isn't set at the right sample rate. Does the song play at normal speed...

Re: Problems Running Frets of Fire X?

What version of FoFiX are you using? The newer versions seem to cause lag for some users. Version 3.030 runs perfectly on my computer. Try downloading that version and playing with the video settings again. I am pretty sure that the x-plorer guitar isn't causing your lag.

Re: Why is the game skipping??

Try changing your video settings. If that doesn't work, you can try using a megalight theme. If it still doesn't work well after that, you could always go back to FoFiX 3.030. It doesn't have most of the new features, but it runs very well, even on an old computer like mine (getting close to 8 years).

Re: WoW

I stopped playing that a long time ago. It just got boring when none of your real-life friends played it. They are into FPS games, like Halo 3.

I had a level 48 Orc Hunter on Eitrigg (I think that is what it was called).
