Re: help with guitar
You can still find them in thrift stores or electronics trading stores (places that give you cash for your old consoles or games) for very reasonable prices.. Just the other day i saw a Wii guitar controller (which does work on pc with some fiddling about) that was only priced at £16 gbp (approx $22...

Re: help with guitar
You can use pretty much any guitar from either Xbox 360 or PS3 or Wii for nearly any of the Rockband/ guitar hero games.. The easiest option is any wired guitar for Xbox 360 as that should plug directly into the computer with the least amount of problems.. Something like these.. The Guitar Hero xbox...

Re: Error on start up
Hi. Writing logs like that without more precision is useless. If you want help, please, be courteous, give us more details and ask a question. Futhermore, I think you have information about this error in this forum or in the FAQ in the wiki… That is how everyone posts their logs.. its just a text f...

Re: how to make a midi
Try a google search for "free <song name> Midi download" You would be surprised how many results you get.. Or at a real push you could try a google search for " <song name> free sheet music" That again will yield hundreds if not thousands of results.

Re: Using fofix
My best guess would be to find an app that lets you bind midi inputs to either keyboard presses or to joystick button presses. Then your midi drums would behave like a USB joystick and you could then assign the controls in the game.

Perhaps ask on more "savvy" forums instead of here... Yeah coz people here have only been fixing problems with this game for 11 years, even the official Fof site never did that.. YOU may not be very savvy when it comes to stuff, but that doesnt mean everybody elses knowledge is at the sam...

Re: Bass Guitar?
Ahh don't sweat it, you saw an audio track that said bass and thought that meant there must be a bass track to play, easy assumption to make if you don't know how the songs work fully. Yes you are correct in thinking the notes in the midi file (notes.mid) are the visual record of where each note is....

Re: Bass Guitar?
You can as long as you select a chart that has that part authored. How would I go about that? I downloaded "Walk This Way" by Aerosmith from Salevan's post and noticed it contained "rhythm.ogg", but I've no idea how to use it. Having the audio is not the same as having the notes...

Pretty mutch of the links in here are no longer available...it's a shame :( You wait 7 years before making another (your second) post, and you choose to reply to a sleeping thread that is older than you have been on this site  The thread had been asleep for nearly two years before you joined...
