allegro 4.4.1.1 was the only one of several versions that i could get to build and have eof build as well. The 4.9.x series does not work at all as it doesn't provide include/allegro.h and its include files live in include/allegro5/

The only working themes that I know of are MLv4 and the 4x themes in my sig.
