Re: Wind instruments

This seems like a really good idea. I've thought of it crazily, but never thought that a controller could be used. Although if there was a controller how would it look like? There's a lot of wind instruments that could be in Part_WINDS, so what would a controller take the shape of?

Re: Charting a song with a midi editor?

I guess it could also be possible to use FL Studio to edit a drum chart (I've had Anvil, it's not that great on the eyes since piano roll doesn't scroll) and then use Anvil to combine the charts. I'm guessing that would keep the text events and other instruments intact supposing I had an original mi...

Re: Charting a song with a midi editor?

you'll be better off charting in EOF i think I can't use EOF, I don't know why. I talked with NewCreature for a while and never fixed it. The charts I'm finishing are unfinished EOF charts --- EDIT --- I tried Reaper, it's OK but I can only keep it for 30 days. Anyone know a good midi editor to use?

I'm pretty good with these, I just don't know how to this. Could you link a reaper charting tutorial?

Re: Charting a song with a midi editor?

dont post if you dont know the answer "Master". Yes it is very possible, there are a few tutorials but if you just want something basic i suggest following this one: https://www.fretsonfire.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=1856 It's good, although the problem with FL Studio is that it removes s...

Charting a song with a midi editor?

Is it possible to import a song to a midi editor and add notes (same thing that db and eof do)? Songs change tempot a lot and so without the song it wouldn't work very well. I have charts that I made a while ago and want to edit but FeedBack won't import the drum chart. If you can link a post that e...

Is there any other place that would be good? I've been moving that folder around and it's not changing that little issue (it can't find the input midi) :cursing:

Re: chart pitched vocals with eof or feedback & a text editor

the workaround is to make sure the pitched lyric file doesn't end with a line that begins with a hyphen (which indicates that there is another line's worth of vocal rhythm notes). ah, OK, well thank you for telling me. The error codes were something but a crash I just had trouble finding the proble...

Re: chart pitched vocals with eof or feedback & a text editor

Seriously, read the instructions. OK, OK, I read through almost all of the read me file. I fixed up the vocals.txt, I changed the rhythm location, and have been fixing errors for a while. This I'm not sure of because once I enter the code The Converter crashes. At this point I'm not sure what's wro...

Re: chart pitched vocals with eof or feedback & a text editor

OK well I got that part to work. But now it's telling me that Part Vocals is not present in the midi input. I don't see a PART VOCALS when also when I import the midi into a midi editor. Does it not convert or what?

If I write FoFLyricConvert I'll get the same thing but with "FoFLyricConvert" instead

Re: chart pitched vocals with eof or feedback & a text editor

Could I get some help. I type in the code blocks, I'm almost sure I got all the correct syntax down, but the command prompt keeps telling me

Code: Select all

'FoFLyricConverter' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file

Re: Pitched vocals with midi editor? If not another question

[quote=That should work. If you want, you can look at the MIDI for any of the Rock Band charts to see how they do it.[/quote] OK, well I have another question. I was looking at an older vocal chart I made with KRMaker, I had charted pitches out of interest, not knowing it would become a real feature...
