Re: A very newbie question

Haha, don't worry about trying to memorize them or anything man. Just keep playing/practicing and you'll find yourself nailing them in no time. And once you decide to step up to hard/expert, you'll be even more familiarized with hammer-on/pull-offs. A word of advice: Take advantage of not having to ...

Re: How about a rep feature?

Eh, there's a lot of ways a user can be a jerk and make people mad without really breaking rules

A certain approach to FoF song making

(A new approach in a way for me anyway, not everybody else of course) Haha, not sure if this is appropriate enough for a new thread, but I think it is. Seems like every day new people find out about FoF/FoFiX, and most of them instantly fall in love with it. I mean.. The idea of it is perfect for so...

Re: How about a rep feature?

I don't think that -rep would really be appropriate for a lot of threads, such as tune posting topics and such.. But it can be pretty good in general discussion. I mean, say some people are discussing a topic in Off Topic (I haven't went to this forum, so I don't know how it runs much here).. And so...

Re: more hopos penalty??

ok thanks for that and for example guitar hero world tour metallica or 5 for example what ho po system use exactly? I'm a bit confused. I think you're asking what settings the use in their HOPO engine? But uh.. I think there is some slight differences in GH5/GH:M.. But for the most part, the engine...

Re: i have a weird suspicion about some Guitar Hero Songs...

well we can see this guys never played a real guitar hero game because if i remember correctly they had videos of them making the songs on the game. Yeah.. I think that was in GH1.. And I think there was some stuff on it in GHIII (not making covers though). But eh, I don't really know. I think I wa...

Re: How about a rep feature?

Woah, I didn't know Facebook had a feature like that (never used it, but I hear enough about it). It seems like it'd be a neat feature though. A thumbs down wouldn't be bad either I suppose.. Though personally, I honestly don't think I'd ever give somebody a thumbs down on a project or anything rath...

Re: How about a rep feature?

A thank feature would probably be best I suppose. haha, most of the ways I would expect myself to even use the rep would be to thank people, so...

Or maybe something like giving them a "thumbs up".. Or maybe better yet, being able to give specific threads in tune posting thumbs up?

Re: Song seems to be slowing down in-game?

Yeah, the above post seems like a solid solution. And haha, like they said, ditch Freetar.. It was what I first used to fret songs, and I had experiences that seem to be exactly what you're going through. It turns out to become more of a hassle than something you'd ever dream of having fun with >.>'...

Re: your favorite songs to play on FOF

HellAshes' album from The Human Abstract (converted from SH for FoF) is pretty hard and fun. Certainly worth playing if you don't already have it

Re: How about a rep feature?

People might be tempted to say "Look at my rating, do you know who I am? I don't do what you say, now get the Hell out of my forum" Over-dramatization, but you get my point. Haha, woah. I dunno, I hope to god you're not right >.>'. I've never really seen anything to that extent anywhere b...

Promoting elitism?

I would dare say that 'promoting elitism' is something that can't really be avoided very well in communities like this. Though I don't care to really go into explaining it because it should be obvious.

Poll glitch

Say I run a poll for any amount of time in a thread.. And after a while, I remove it and replace it with a different poll. When I try to do this, I can't. I can manage to delete a poll.. But when I try to edit it/put a new one up, it automatically puts up options from the poll that took place prior....
