Possible Z-Day Game. Ideas?

If I were to make a true free roam zombie game, what would you like to see in it? I'm going for realism, with total freedom over a huge area. I would like to make this game after I get my masters in business. Which will be in about 9 years :/. I plan on basing it in my home town of Kansas City, I th...

Re: Why?

Beebe, your problem is you should just go play real instruments and pretend you're in a band. You clearly didn't read the entire post. If you did you would have known that I knew that someone was going to say that. Also you would have known that I believe that when you make a game you should go all...

Why?

when making GH who thought of only having 5 fret buttons? Since it "guitar" hero you'd think they would have thought "hey lets have 6 buttons because a real guitar has 6 strings." That would make sense, also would have gone with the difficulty increase WAY better. Green/Red/Yello...

Re: How did you choosed your profile name?

I used to use Action Cat for everything, got it from this picture http://farm1.static.flickr.com/235/444445582_74160100b1.jpg it was humerus at the time. However, my sucking at thinking of good nicknames and lack of originality in names I now just use Beebe which is my last name. If that is taken I ...

Re: Advanced Song Tutorial 2 - *Become a Great Fretter*

Charting drums requires less musical experience, in my opinion it's easier to chart than guitar. There is a sufficiently-finite number of sounds that are made on a typical drum kit that with some practice, tabs won't be necessary at all. I agree, however, I use the tabs because I have trouble diffe...

Re: Career mode issues

It could also be that you played one of that tier's songs in quickplay, and saw the score in career thinking you had completed that song. No. Right when I got them I went through and played them all in career mode, and I already re-downloaded the .ini's but that didn't work, plus it happened with a...

Re: open strum for bass

I only think that the open note is good for bass. If the guitar had the open note, it would make solos and chords much more complicated. you got a point however in my own opinion, that would make it a little more 'realistic',as in some sounds on all instruments just make more sence as an open note,i...

Career mode issues

I'm having some trouble with career mode, I finish songs but the encore song and/or the next tier doesn't unlock. I tried messing with the songs individual configuration files, but all I could do is make everything automatically unlocked. It's not that big of an issue I just play in quickplay mode, ...

open strum for bass

It would be really cool to see open strums in bass parts like in GHWT/metallica. It's pretty much the best part of playing bass in those games.

Re: Advanced Song Tutorial 2 - *Become a Great Fretter*

I am having a lot of trouble charting drums. Every tab seems so inaccurate!. Personally I'm finding drums to be a heck of a lot harder to chart than guitar...

What is the hardest song ever on GH; RB; or FoF?

Seriously what is the hardest song ever on GH; RB; or FoF? I am really wondering, and I am not asking for overall band difficulty, I mean hardest on guitar, or drums, or bass, or whatever, each instrument individually. But I guess hardest song for the entire band is welcome to be given as...

Re: Advanced Song Tutorial 2 - *Become a Great Fretter*

Awesome tutorial. After stumbling upon this I couldn't help start charting songs. If it wasn't for every chart being off especially on drums and bass, I would have finished Sacrificed Sons over a week ago! For my first song charted the guitar track came out very nicely (good thing I had your tutoria...
