Re: FoFiX Vocal Questions

Yeah i agree with Kueller917, there is something very wrong with the karaoke mode in FoFix. I got my RB USB mic and I can't score anything at all in FoFix, tried GH on PS2 and I rocked... Tried RB2 songs and some other tracks I had. There is something wrong for sure. Of course, its still i...

Re: Xplorer Guitar and Starpower.

Check is anything else may conflict with the tilt sensor, and if you've mapped out the tilt sensor to be the Star Power activator.
Also good luck on beating Soulless 3. I haven't downloaded it yet but it looks difficult

Re: Please enter name???

The exe should be in the FoFiX folder, wherever you put it

Good Luck

Yeah I used both. Although the customs are mine so I know they're in sync. Still, I'm trying out an easy official song to slowly sync it up.

Yes it is infact out of sync, but I can't get it synced up. I'll just keep trying

Re: Drum overhits

Sounds like your sync is off. Bear in mind that drum sync is MUCH more noticable than guitar sync. You can easily be a few MS out and play guitar without much problem but even a small MS delay on drums is killer. Try changing it a little? Does the delay only show for a drum controller. I've played ...

Drum overhits

I recently managed to get a Rock Band 1 kit to hook up to my computer and play songs. I got the keys mapped out and working but when playing there's constant overhits and even dropped notes. I've tried this kit in Rock Band and Guitar Hero and it works fine, I've had no issues with it. Is there any ...

Eh, I can't get it to work, and anyways I already finished my own template that labels everything the RB one would.

Spotlight Phrase?

Very quick question and I wish I didn't have to make a whole thread to ask this

Are Spotlight Phrases (as listed in the midi values list in the FoFiX wiki) Star Power/Overdrive? I'm trying to name the key controls in Reaper to make charts there

1.62 is looking great. I tried it on a friends computer and the new features are great additions. Still the best chart editor in my opinion

Re: A question for fretters

If i like charting the song then I can do it in one sitting and quickly. I can't tell what siongs those will be though since song songs I may like to listen to a lot I may dislike charting.

Make FoF run smoother

May be a vague question sorry...
So FoF works fine for me, but in full band gameplay it gets pretty slow. Even worse with FRAPS on, so are there any quick ways to just make the game run smoother (like turning off the background like people do with GH3)?

I will go back to reaper, because I like it a lot, I'm just planning out what to do between the time when the trial ends and I go buy reaper itself.

Re: Charting a song with a midi editor?

I guess it could also be possible to use FL Studio to edit a drum chart (I've had Anvil, it's not that great on the eyes since piano roll doesn't scroll) and then use Anvil to combine the charts. I'm guessing that would keep the text events and other instruments intact supposing I had an original m...

Possibly something like this: http://www.akaipro.com/stuff/contentmgr/files/20/5f925009694a17b5328fdcec47cee9e7/medium/ewi_usb_angle_med.png (click for more info) But with big GH-style coloured buttons. Athough I kinda like my hinge idea, so you could tilt the button part of the controller down to ...
