Re: I might leave the FoF/PS Community.

I haven't read a single word from anybody who would suggest you're not welcome anywhere, for what it's worth.

Re: Something people here might not be aware of

Authoring is brutal, it takes a toll, bad feedback or no thanks drive you crazy. I understand people pulling songs: I'm not releasing a fair amount of songs because I'm not satisfied of them or because they miss keys, so I can see how anybody would pull something he's not satisfied with.

Re: C3's question thread

"(just the fact that you think that an MP3 available from thousands if not hundred of thousands of sources is as valuable and as in need of protection than something only available from one single source boggles the mind)" One single source = the one outlet selling them. They are the one ...

If you try to explain math to a rock, you can't expect much. At the same time, are you sure your time is well spent talking to a rock?

Re: Maurits' charting turorial [Tempo mapping, guitar, PROdr

Kudos for doing this. I would suggest spending a paragraph explaining how to line up the audio correctly at the very beginning by identifying the first downbeat instead of assuming that the first peak is the first downbeat: that's in the top 3 of the main issues in FoF tempo maps.

Re: A birthday and some renovations!

If possible, since the user base isn't as nearly as large as its peak, the restriction on multiple consecutive searches should be removed, in my opinion. If it's an issue of it being an inherent function of the forum architecture, or if it'd affect the bandwidth or something, (just spouting tech ja...

Re: C3's question thread

But when you record the songs from a console to pc, it is not lossless. Not even 1:1 copies. The moggs in the game or encrypted ogg files barely even worth 128 CD qulaity. So when you download a multitrack that is in wav or flac, all you are getting is upscaled formats. 100% correct, and that doesn...

Re: C3's question thread

Mixes - Illegal Stems - Even more illegal It's really not the legality, we've said this in our first post: "Copyright is not the issue here: nobody has any rights on anything, so the entire customs community should be shut down using that logic." It's about individual stems being availabl...

Re: C3's question thread

I was mad at 2 users that told me I'm not welcome here if I listen to master tracks outside the game. And those are not C3 members, and Nemo was explaining what those users were saying. The message was clear: if you want to listen to those mutlitracks that are meant to be used in the game, do it, b...

Re: C3's question thread

After all my messages, is it that your question? Yes, I want to know if you are a straight up liar or if somebody actually told you that it's wrong for you to listen to multitracks (which isn't a scandal in itself, but I would like to debate that). You are saying that somebody from our group did th...

You made a specific claim, please back it up so we can see why it was done. Which C3 member and where said to you that "it's wrong and really bad for you to listen to multitracks"?

Re: C3's question thread

Hi, I'm not here to refuse every single point you make. I accept some of them, but I don't understand why listening to these multi tracks from a PC is wrong and really bad, but listening to them in practice mode in the Guitar Hero game is alright. Still not found a single reason for that, and I gue...
