Nah, I don't upload my scores. I play FoFiX from my laptop, which doesn't have internet connectivity 99% of the time. I'd advise making a new thread for that problem, though, as most people are unlikely to see it here, and I don't have any idea on how to fix that (or what the errors mean in general).

If you keep having problems, you could just remove the career files from the songs and play them like normal ones in quickplay. Since the theme I use always screws careers up anyway, that's what I do.

The driver(s) you need depend on which video card you have in your computer. There's a nice guide on how to find, download, and update your drivers here. Just ignore the parts that say things about Tribal Trouble, that's specific for a different game.

It could be the receiver drivers, but aside from that and the DirectX drivers there aren't a whole lot that are used. It could still be the problem, though. Make sure you installed the receiver correctly with the drivers from the accompanying CD and make sure you've got the latest version of DirectX...

Why are you pressing sync multiple times? You just hit it once for the receiver and once for each of the controllers and let it do its thing.

And also try replacing the batteries. I know it may seem simple, but it's worth a shot.
