Re: FoFiX 4.0.0 Development Thread
@Borisdsp: Do you have to convert the videos (with the link you gave to the RB rips of TRZ)? If yes, which configuration do you use? If no, why I am a getting the invalid video error (I'm running the latest revision) as playing files renamed from .flv to .avi works? @jstump91: That latest revision s...

Re: FoFiX 4.0.0 Development Thread
I think it is just a invalid/broken video file. Why can't the developers of FoFiX provide some test videos? Can someone please upload some videos that are working with FoFiX r1974?

Re: FoFiX 4.0.0 Development Thread
@jfosheezy: Did you set the parameter of Stage Selection to Video. (You can find Stage Selection in (first turn on Advanced Settings): Display Settings -> Stage Options -> Stage Selection or you can edit it in the fofix.ini (I assume you have a Windows based OS): Start Menu -> Run -> Type (Without t...

Re: FoFiX 4.0.0 Development Thread
I'm getting this error if I choose both career and quickplay to play with. (OverflowError: long int too large to convert to int). FoFiX returns back at the main menu after the setlist loading (I'm getting a the options screen then with the error message). I'm using Worldrave's GH3 theme with the lat...

Re: textured 3d notes
I can confirm that the notes and the frets are fixed with version 5 rock band 2 3d pack (running on revision 1866).
One question though: Is it normal that the bass key has a hitflame?

Re: textured 3d notes
Do you mean the 3dfixes_for_r1859.rar of FoFiX issue 981, yes I downloaded and installed them. Also the second part just contains a dea file and one texture and the drum.py file.

@ fatdog: http://img12.imageshack.us/img12/3657/errorbass.png I'm not getting the bass fret like your one below: http://i257.photobucket.com/albums/hh237/fatdogm/bass.jpg It seems that the fixes that you first have implemented are now reversed. Can you fix this ? Thank you.

Re: How do I select an avatar in FoFiX?
A lot of confusion is caused by my mistake. I should explain it a little more. 964 prevents the user of FoFiX to use accented characters (¨,*,' ,^,",',etc) in your character's name. This was introduced in revision 1849. If you use accented characters you game could crash. Solution: delete the ....

Re: NEW (maybe) IMPORT METHOD FOR GH WITH ALL INSTRUMENTS!!
Hi guys, in the last days my friend Doglio92 was trying to create custom DLC for RB2 on his wii. He used a program called RAWKSD wich imports (and over all decrypts) songs from guitar hero world tour, metallica, smash hits and even 5. The incredible thing is that those charts created for th...

Re: How do I select an avatar in FoFiX?
This issue resembles a lot at 964 . If you don't already have updated fofix to the latest revision please do so. If you have, try to delete all the files in data\users\players except for default.ini and default.png. (If you the svn version then you will see a question mark icon for the files you hav...

Re: FoFiX v3.1xx development thread
@ evilynux: I've noticed that the Animated Main BG and Animated Loading Screen are added to the to-do list of 4.0.0. Can you please add 10 also as it is also possible now due 237 . I know that this is a open-source project and you don't get paid for all your effort you put in this project, but i sur...

Re: FoFiX v3.1xx development thread
With revision 1803 it seems it recognize my GStreamer but the video doesn't play. Maybe it has something to do with the codecs. For my Paranoid video i've: resolution: 320x240 codec: MPEG4 MP4 (but you have also AVC H264 MP4, i don't know which to choose from) aspect ratio: Normal (you have also 4:3...

http://www.gstreamer-winbuild.ylatuya.es/doku.php?id=download On this page you find the installers of GStreamer but the download is broken on my computer. Hopefully someone else succeeds and upload it on an other host. ----------------EDIT----------------- I've managed to download this and install ...
