Re: FoFiX v3.1xx development thread
Not sure if this was asked before but I am having a little problem with sound. I can hear everything but it sounds there is static or like my speakers are busted. Everything comes through great volume wise but there is some fuzziness to it that makes it a little annoying. It's almost like the game ...

Re: FoFiX v3.1xx development thread
Game froze. I failed in the middle of a song and then hit escape a couple times to exit the menu and then exit the program. I noticed a few minutes later that it had done neither. I ended up ending the processing thread via the task manager. I have quite an extensive log as FoFiX was looping somethi...

Re: FoFiX v3.1xx development thread
Oh! For running from source! Doh! I'm not running from source. No wonder I didn't know what numpy was. Yeah, I know next to nothing about Python, my only programming experience is in C++, and a fairly old one at that. The reason I was printing the FPS to the screen is that I'm just a performance-cur...

Re: FoFiX v3.1xx development thread
Ah, didn't even look at the log, just made copypasta for ya. The error window was the same, which is all I noticed. So, um, numpy? Pardon my ignorance, and lack of attention to details (like actually looking at the log) it's after two in the morning and I had a long day. >_<; in fact, I shall be goi...

Re: FoFiX v3.1xx development thread
Got the runtime error again, and this time with the FPS writing off. Also, the notes, lyrics (as it is RB) and sounds all seemed out of synch. For example, I was playing bass, and I could hear bass notes that were not present on screen what-so-ever, and I was playing on expert, so don't say anything...

akedrou wrote:Slantyr and Spaztic_one - do you have "Print FPS" turned on?
If you do, turn it off. (Advanced settings menu -> Advanced Settings -> Debug)
So, I assume there is some sort of bug in the FPS display line because I do have it turned on.

Re: FoFiX v3.1xx development thread
Got a runtime error in the middle of a song. Running bass on expert, in the RB2 theme (vers 1.6.5 (r11)), under Win XP. Log: (D) Checking MIDI output ports for a wavetable or synth for sound generation... (D) MIDI output port count = 3 (D) MIDI Output port 0 found: Creative S...

Re: FoFiX v3.1xx development thread
One additional bug that I forgot to mention earlier, if you pause, upon resuming, the game has frozen. The audio resumes, wholly intact regardless of your fretting and strumming, and after a few moments I get a Visual C++ runtime error. Note, I do have the countdown upon resuming enabled, if it has ...

Re: FoFiX v3.1xx development thread
Issue two after it's hung for a little while, have you checked your fretsonfire.log? I would guess that there's a corrupt file in there (probably the same one for both of you), and hopefully the log will tell you which one, otherwise you may have to remove and/or re-add songs one by one to figure o...

Re: FoFiX v3.1xx development thread
Issue one Out of curiosity, is the strum bar recognized as an analog axis? It might be something to do with the values that axis is spitting out. But beyond that, I don't know... Mine is recognized as a POV Hat, the same hat as the D-Pad in fact. (PS3 Guitar Controllers have a D-Pad in them) Issue ...

Re: FoFiX v3.1xx development thread
H'okay, so I have a few issues, most, if not all of which have been pointed out already... Issue one: I have still noticed the repeat scrolling sound along with repeat scrolling without even touching the controller in the menus. The problem started with beta4 and continues with 3.1 final. I mentione...
