I think it should be noted that any MS OS before XP isn't compatible with any 360 controller. My win2k box, for instance, won't be able to use a 360 gamepad, even if I had the wireless receiver.

EA is giving away the first C&C Red Alert game.

Try it and judge for yourself.

Back to the topic, I'm gonna say the stuff that Nobuo Uematsu did for the Final Fantasy games holds a very special place in my heart.

No, I had this problem, too. Using Xpadder fixed it for me.

My Wii RB guitar "just works." I plug in the dongle, and it gets recognized as what it is. I didn't try using it in FoF, but I doubt that setting it up would be any more difficult than getting my wired PS2 GH controller to work via a USB converter and configuring Xpadder to bind the buttons to the d...

You shouldn't have to. The only reason to use Joy2Key is if you have trouble getting your strum bar to trigger consistently, and won't be using a strum bar to play drums, will you?

Umm... There is no Guitar Hero 4. The next Guitar Hero is World Tour, and its not even out yet. And there aren't any Guitar Hero games that come with or even use drum kits.

Are you sure you don't have a Rock Band drum kit?

Out of all of them, I'd say the Wii has the most reliable kick pedal - it's supposedly been beefed up more than the PS3 or the 360's kick pedal.

I couldn't find anything to help me out while searching and frankly I just don't have the time. So could someone tell me how to play FOF with a GH2 (for the PS2) controller? I'm using [this] product to plug my GH2 (for the PS2) controllers into. And I'm using the program and drivers found [here] to...

If you have to ask, you'll never learn. You shouldn't ask such things publicly.

That looks like the one I use. Everything but the whammy bar works. The tilt sensor should bind to a button which is handy for star power.

I use a good ol' Black SG from GH1. I like the clicky strum bar, and not-so-clicky frets. I use a clear-blue PS2-to-USB adapter, its a 2-port adapter and it's shaped like a wedge with rounded corners. It doesn't recognize the whammy bar, though. Everything else works great, though. I use it with eve...

I am so happy he didn't have his first post wasn't "HELP MY GAME LAGS!" Well, now that you mention it... Just kidding! I know about the Python memory leak thing, and I've been tweaking things here and there to make sure the FPS stays steady. I get some stuttering during game play, but I'm tweaking ...

I just downloaded Alarian mod last night, and I'm thoroughly enjoying it. It feels very polished. I'm kinda bummed that my PS2pad adapter doesn't support the whammy bar, but I'll bet I could hack together a Star-power stomp-box with my Wii Balance board or DDR dance pad (Wouldn't THAT be awesome...)...

I just downloaded FoF last night, and I've already downloaded a couple gigs worth of songs. I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone involved with Frets on Fire: The coders, the artists, the modders, and of course, the fretters. Thanks to the folks in the Tech Support forum, I've overcome a ...
