Re: Removing Key Conflicts Rock Band Instrument Kit
Well, I don't know if it will help you, but this is what I did to finally able to solve my problem. Firstly, I downloaded the latest FREE version of XPadder ( Found here ). XPadder is a gamepad emulator. What that means for us is we can remap keys on a gamepad (or a Rockband/Guitar Hero instrument c...

Re: Removing Key Conflicts Rock Band Instrument Kit
Is FoFiX recognizing your two controllers with separate controller numbers? Wait. Is that possible? Because I have two RB:Beatles PS3 guitar controllers (and a drum, and microphone), and I can't use any two of them in FoFiX. One controller has to be a RB controller, and the other has to be a keyboa...

Re: About Tapping on FOF
Oh, okay.
Explains why I haven't heard of them, then.
I only play Rock Band (and then only when having a party or something; rest of the time, I use the guitar controller to play FoFiX). Thanks, though, mate.

Re: Song difficulty calculator - Something actually worth ma
Woah, this difficulty calculator is really cool. I know I'm going to sound a bit presumptuous, but something that really irritates me is when people don't bother putting a difficulty on a song, or a difficulty that's obviously wrong (honestly, about a third of the songs on the full-album chart of In...

NahemaH - Absynthe.
Just checking out new bands. These guys have been on my list of bands to check out for a long time now - decided to finally listen to them intently.

Re: FOFIX NOWADAYS SU*CKS
Do you have Python installed? You realize that this does not matter in any way, correct? You realize I don't know virtually anything about this program's mechanics, nor Python, correct? All I know is that he's running the same version of FoFiX as me, 3.121, which errored at me until I installed Pyt...

Re: FOFIX NOWADAYS SU*CKS
Do you have Python installed? And have you tried rebooting?
No idea if this is the case, but I vaguely recall a getting a similar error, due to the fact I didn't have Python installed.

Re: RockBand/MIDI Controller Idea (Pictures included!)
Cool, so it could be possible? Well, that's the first step.
Now if only there was someone willing and able to do it. I may have to ask some of my programmer friends... I think this would be kinda cool. What do you guys think?

Hey guys, I changed my avatar just for this competition (and because I realized you can have animated avatars on this board).
Same avatar as that I use on another forum. It's a collage of Christian Alvestam's funny finger movements in the video for "Morphogenesis."

Re: RockBand/MIDI Controller Idea (Pictures included!)
Are you talking about defining certain pads to certain keyboard keys? Because Im pretty sure that can already be done with some programs. Well, kinda-sorta. Not just pads (which is drum-exclusive; I've seen programs that do that), but more specifically the guitar controller. Basically what it does ...

Re: Best way for fretting
Actually, if you did that, most of the notes will have wrong HOPO usage. Beat mapping the song first is always the best choice. Like in dB, once you change the BPM, the notes will follow up the BPM and you have to replace them back, waste of time and efforts. From my experience tho. Well, in EOF, y...

RockBand/MIDI Controller Idea (Pictures included!)
Okay, hello all. Before I get anywhere, I just want to say two things: I don't know if this belongs here or not, and I don't know if something like this has already been done, been attempted, and/or is impossible - I have very little programming experience, so forgive my ignorance if this stupidly i...

Re: Best way for fretting
To answer that, it's probably because FeedBack (dB) used to be the more powerful charting tool, and produced better-quality charts. However EoF has been under steady development for a while now, so I'm not quite sure which one is more powerful at the moment. Also, Puppetz's tutorials use dB, so a l...
