Actually, I don't think people know exactly what causes it. We just know that it's usually solved by updating graphics drivers. It's not FoF's problem specifically, it's the underlying libraries.

Have you made any software changes lately? Any updates?

Well, the philosophy here is that even if you think it's lame, there are people that want it. Those are the people that would mod it. If you don't want it, you just don't use it.

http://pysonic.sourceforge.net/

If someone feels like reimplementing all the sound stuff using PySonic/FMOD, we can have a whammy bar.

Did you turn on HO/PO? If it's running and the controller works, I don't see any reason why HO/PO can't work if it's turned on.

mmmkay. Can we get a mirror for the updated Frets on Fire download? I'm getting terrible download speed, and after a whole bunch of tinkering, I've concluded it is neither my internet or my computer. That website is very, very, very slow. So, can we get a mirror? Please? Uuh, I run the server that ...

1. You probably added and deleted from the wrong folder.

2. It crashed. Post an error log and we'll see what's going on.

I think this is caused by the fact that you have some python libraries that are on your system that FoF isn't compatible with, because they're too new. If they don't exist on your system, the ones in the package get included. If they do exist, the ones in your system already take preference. Try ren...

You have to replace default.ttf in the .app with some other font. I used Chalkboard.ttf. Search around for more details.

Try removing accented characters from the filename. (And the path leading up to your filename, too.)

This doesn't have to do with input devices.

Oh well, the beauty of open source is that even if Rogue doesn't want to do it anymore, someone can take over. Capo did a good job adding stuff.

I wonder how RF-mod 4.0 is progressing. (The port to the new version, not the features on the wishlist.)

I have a feeling that Rogue_F got bored of this project. Maintaining code is less fun than coding.

RF-mod doesn't change the keys into circles. I think FoZZ made something for that.

The X, if you read the comments after, you'll see that another version was released that works on intel macs.
