Actually PS2 has this rock meter because it's too old to support the bar rock meer. If you notice, the hitflames are smaller compared to a PS3. And GH5 for PS2 doe not support Party Play or competitive modes.

Rock band 2 has the decrypter, right? For decrypting the songs and make them playable. So why not hack a disk and extract the decrypter?
