Re: GH:WT PS3 controllers with FoFiX
Hey there! GHWT is coming on PC "soon" (no release date other then summer set up tough :S) and it's coming with PS3 wireless guitar. I want to buy drum kit from amazon. Both should came with receivers. The question is, are those controllers going to work with FoFiX (or should I get RB dru...

Re: why do we relly need python
It's all been explain but my way to sum it up is. The original developer of FOF decided to use Python to code the game. It was probably a programming language that person was most familiar with and easiest for them. Overtime FOF had continued to be upgraded, modify and such using the original Python...

Re: GHWT PC
They won't release RB1 or RB2 on the PC because this type of gaming is so hard to get right when it comes to graphics, playability, etc. GHIII is alright, but I have to turn off a lot of features to get it to run at all. Not to say that the game was ported over great, but it didn't run bad. I even ...

Re: Guitar Hero: Metallica demo on XBL (Gold Only)
The hatred of 3 note chords is partly based on the fact that most people's keyboards (FoF is primarily keyboard based, whether you use guitar controllers or not) can't play many 3 note chords, and partly because most of the really good fretters on the forum believe GH2 and RB2 frettings are the bes...

Re: Guitar Hero: Metallica demo on XBL (Gold Only)
Since when did this hate of 3 note chords come around???? I don't mind them as long as they are OMFG LOL CHORD RAPE like Stricken in GH3. Seriously, that song is the WORSE official chart I have every played in my life. Most power chords that I play are 3 notes anyway (root, 5th, root). The feel the...

Re: Guitar Hero: Metallica demo on XBL (Gold Only)
Fair enough. You were right about the Seek and Destroy chart...it was surprisingly good. Not a 3 note chord in sight either. Of course 90% of the setlist for this has already been fretted here...so it doesn't matter so much that we won't get the rips for a while. We'll just get people asking for ex...

Re: Dual kick pedal support?
Separating the pedals for RB2 could be done by making a cheap, simple circuit with parts from radioshack, which will keep the pedals from interfering with each other.---- EDIT ---- But with RB2 there isn't 2 bass pedal inputs on it. You can plug the other bass pedal into the extra unused port and it...

Re: EOF 1.58
[ Dude, sorry if I come off a little aggressive. It is hard to explain in extact detail my situation. I usually keep up with every detail and update from FOFix, to GHWT, to hardare, computers, and you name it, but it is a little boring and I start to not care because I am burnt out. I just stopped ...

Re: EOF 1.58
amak11: I think everyone know by now that FOF doesn't support it. It works but, except for the visual effects. That none of that has anything to do with my post. No i'm not reapeating myself it's just you can't run note A into B because it won't work, on a real guiter yes . Not even Neversoft chart...

Re: RB-2 Lyrics
you must have a mid file because the midi includes everything except the audio such as guitar, bass, and drum notes if available. Either the Vocal part is missing from the midi or you downloaded it from a source that striped it out of the midi. Sorry i'm just making sure we are on the same page. Try...

tyson09 wrote:they got no midi files...its just guitar.ogg and song.ogg
you mean that you are suggesting that the VOCAL part is missing from the midi, not the entire midi. Honestly not sure what the deal is. I downloaded them a long time ago without the issue.

Re: EOF 1.58
Here is a demo of what I experienced with problems with extended sustains. Two of the same fretting done differently. One "With Problems" and one "Without Problems" Only 50 seconds of audio and charting for this. http://www.mediafire.com/?lgt0m2axf3m You will see a pattern repeat...
