Re: How do I select an avatar in FoFiX?

Yeah it does the same for me. A workaround is once you've created your character, copy the avatar picture you want into the users folder and name the picture the same as the character. It's an obvious fix, but just in case someone wasn't aware.

Re: FoFiX v3.1xx development thread

Also, I was wondering what song caching is and if it has anything to do with my problem. FoFiX saves information about your songs in cache files. When you start it for the first time, the .fofix-cache file is being made for every folder with your songs. After that, the song information and list is ...

Re: FoFiX v3.1xx development thread

Hey guys, I've searched for an answer to this problem and can't seem to find one: This started (I think) after installing beta 2 and is still present in RC 1. My setlist scrolling is really slow. Like one song per second when I'm holding down the strum bar. However, when I scroll back up through the...

Ah, ok. Thanks for the info.

Re: EOF 1.6

Is anyone else having a problem with the "test in FOF" option? I don't know if it's EOF 1.6 or FoFiX 3.120 RC 2, but now when I try to test in FOF, the command window opens and closes with nothing happening. I've tried to link it with FOF and the songs folder several times, but same result...

Re: Creationist Science Fair!

well, guys, it's been fun, but as has been pointed out numerous times, no one is going to convince anyone on a simple internet forum (especially one that's for a simple, fun, fake guitar, music game). I was about to write a response to the last couple of posts, but I don't think it's worth it. I'll ...

Re: Creationist Science Fair!

On the contrary. Isn't it worth pondering our views? I'd like you to go to a a site. Here. Read it. Think about it. Yeah, I've read through that site before. There's waay too much to respond to on this little forum, but in summary he makes the following errors: 1. Takes verses out of context and cl...

Re: Creationist Science Fair!

Why is God obligated to do anything? WE sin, WE decide to accect or reject his gift, it's not his fault at all. All discussion of man and God starts here. Basically you (who are arguing against God) believe that it's not "fair" for people to be judged for what they do wrong, that it's not ...

Re: Creationist Science Fair!

I defend atheism's arguments on lifestyle wholeheartedly. If we were placed here by an omniscient, omnipotent being that wants us to enjoy our lives on Earth, then why do we have to pander to the men who claim to be one-on-one followers of that being? Why do we have to spend every waking moment won...

Re: Creationist Science Fair!

yeah this site is definitely a joke. It's made by the same guy who made Landover Baptist Church which is a lot less subtle in its satire.

Why not post them, you know, for other people that use the crap drums too. actually the rock revolution drums are quite nice, good bounce, pads in the right position ie. high hat, and they dont break lots like WT drums. yeah, actually the only complaint I have about rock revolution drums is the pad...

Re: Rock Band 2 : Continues..[1.6.5] Revision 55..by [K.i.D]™

I have a request. I use rock revolution drums with fofix (they were cheap) and on that set the snare is yellow while the "hi hat" is red. Which is basically opposite of rock band. Could someone make up drum note and fret pngs with the yellow and red reversed? I have no idea how to edit pn...

Re: FoFiX v3.1xx development thread

Azoschke: At the moment, it is likely a slow computer problem, so you'll just have to deal with it... until we fix the rendering, which will make it faster (though I don't know just how much faster). I assume this will be before the release, but it's not something I am working on so I can't say for...
