Re: Mac Users FAQ - Helpful Information

If you are having trouble with the wired 360 Xplorer controller, see my post: https://www.fretsonfire.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=43658 Or, here is what is says: I tired both v.08 & .09 of the Tattiebogle 360 drivers with no success even though these are listed as Snow Leopard & 64-bi...

Re: Help with 360 Xplorer

I'll add that I also can not get the wired 360 Xplorer to function in Snow Leopard (10.6.2). I've not played FOF in awhile so I went looking for updates. I updated to trinidude4's port "FoFiX V3.120 Full - Python 2.6". It seems to run just fine. This seems to have grown nicely since the la...

I've purchased a couple of cheap "PS2 to PS3" usb adapters off ebay and I'm having trouble with them working on my Mac. I also noticed some "PS2 to PC" adapters for sale also. Are these two adapters different? Could this be the cause of my connection trouble?

Well, I tried holding the wammy and I also tired another guitar and neither worked. I don't see a calibrate setting in USB Overdrive.

Is there a difference between a "PS2 to PS3" adapter and a "PS2 to USB" adapter. I just figured they were one in the same and bought a PS2 to PS3 adapter.

We've been rocking out 2 player style on a Rock Band wired guitar and a keyboard with no problems but my coworkers and I agree we need two guitars so we can ditch the keyboard! I've got a PS2 guitar so I purchased one of those cheap PS2 to PS3 converters off eBay to connect the PS2 via USB. I've als...

I can't say enough good things about trinidude4's port of Alarian Mod 2.34 for the Mac. It works great right out of the box. It runs smooth on my older G5 iMac with 10.4. and even better on a G5 tower. Get it, you won't be disappointed.

I'm simply amazed at the mac port of Alarian Mod 2.34. It took awhile to even get the regular mac version of FOF to run and even then it didn't run that great. The Alarian Mod 2.34 is simply amazing, even on my G5 iMac. Keep the Mac discussions going!
