Something's not right about the hit windows: unless you changed jurgen's code, I know for a fact that he always hits the notes as soon as he can, as soon as the notes enter the hittable region, in the earliest margin possible. So if I set the board speed by difficulty (ala GH), and if the hit margin...

Hey everyone, I am back. The stars were determined as follows: (the points you earned)/(# of notes x 50) Btw, this is flawed, the base score for a song is not the # of notes x 50 (unless the song has no chords or holds). You have to add up all the points possible from each note/chord and its hold p...

from an initial serach in the scorehero forums, I found these values for the average multiplier: 5*=2.8x 4*=2.0x 3*=1.2x 2*=0.4x 1.5*=0.0x And I believe I was wrong about the difficulties, I think that was for something else. Edit: here's another topic that talks about this, you can find more info o...

@Capo: You hit the nail on the head (and articulated it way better than I did). What did you think of the proposed thresholds I put up? why don't you just do it the GH way? I believe they have a 'multiplier threshold' based on difficulty. But for exact numbers you'll have to do a little research. M...

Stars based on scores is the right way to do it. A higher score means you had a higher multiplier for longer periods, which means that you hit the correct notes + you didn't miss (you didn't reset the multiplier). You can get a high % just by strumming everywhere when the notes come, and have 1x the...

i dont really like it.. i think without it the game looks more clean graphically speaking (talking about the notes). Well for me it's not just a graphical taste, I need to know if I'm playing the notes too fast (or slow), too early or too late, and adjust accordingly (specially in songs like misirl...

So I had a go again at improving it in some aspects that bothered me. Not much, really. - Notes disappear as soon as you hit them, if you miss them they don't disappear. - Added a clap sound while starpower is active. download Instructions: - You first need to have Alarian mod v1.6 correctly install...

+fixed stupid tails bug capo did that. Yeah he didn't to mention he's using my code for removing the tails on non-sustained notes. Not really his fault though, with so many code mods and changes everywhere it's hard to know where something comes from. Hell, probably only a small group of people kno...

It could be that the beat lines that you included are fat and ugly.
These are easier on the eyes, but I'm not really into graphics so they are not the best.

I don't get this new update :/ "now the bars will looks ugly"? They will look ugly with the graphics I provided initially, because I added more width to the bars so they'll stretch more, but if someone is willing to change the graphic of the bars you can make them look right again, like I did with ...

It has to be the song. do you mean 'vbpm' where the board speeds up or slows down with the bpm? I don't know if UC included it. vbpm toggle came with RFmod, but I expanded board speed options and included it in my mod, so I don't know if UC included it here. Look in the settings for board speed opti...

Ok I fixed the bug that doesn't let the bars to be curved. Guitar.py Delete Guitar.py inside your library.zip and add this one. Now the bars will look ugly in both themes, but it's just graphics, you can play around with them (change sizes, colors, make them curved, etc), like this (just for the GHI...
