It's kind of poorly executed though

Re: Rock Band 3, or GH:Warriors of Rock?

Burnin' For You in GH6 is the inferior 1994 cult classic rerecord, professionally remixed by activison to sound 10x worse

That was literally the only song I cared about that wasn't already in RB

Re: Rock Band 3, or GH:Warriors of Rock?

They tried to one-up rock band by having 5 separate pads, but it ended up working against them. The guitar hero drums can't replicate a 5-piece kit the same way the RB drums can, so they have to drastically limit the charts sometimes. They definitely didn't think it through all the way

Re: Rock Band 3, or GH:Warriors of Rock?

ghaha neversoft really takes the plot of 2112 seriously. Wish they cared that much about their charting, because holy god that drum chart is GH: smash hits levels of bad

Re: Rock Band 3, or GH:Warriors of Rock?

RB usually charts ghost notes unless they get too insane. they're really inconvenient to play on the RB1 kit since there's so little rebound. I don't know if they are going to be notated specifically in RB3, probably not

Re: Rock Band 3, or GH:Warriors of Rock?

You forgot trills and tremolo sections, drum rolls, bass solos, individual song ratings and some other stuff. And RB3 comes with trainers for all the pro instruments, which by itself is pretty significant. There's also double bass support, pitch-correction vocals, drum rolls and cymbal washes... &qu...

Re: The Offical Rock Band 3 Thread (Rumored songs added)

Yeah they have a dedicated team of people at Harmonix who make the pro guitar charts. I'm confident they'll be able to chart out all the right notes, but with 83 songs and DLC every week I'm sure some parts are going to end up charted ridiculously

Re: The Offical Rock Band 3 Thread (Rumored songs added)

Wow, I didn't think scratch chords were going to be possible. That chord shape system seems kind of confusing, but at least they added a modifier that shows the rest of the numbers in the chord. I'd like to see how the system works on chords that aren't clearly E or A shape power chords I assume be...

Re: GHWOR SETLIST ACT 2 :D

No More Mr. Nice Guy sounds kind of badly rerecorded. whatever, I'd take it yeah for drum rolls instead of charting them they just have sustains sometimes it works sometimes it's so awful. you'll see a huge fill charted as just hitting the red snare over and over Rock Band 3 is copying this so I hop...

Re: 2112 full album on GH6

The 2112 custom on scorehero was a pretty legendary custom back in the day, but it got so boring after the Priests of Syrinx or whatever that part is called. They are going to need some really good background stuff if they are going to keep anyone interested in a 20 minute long song that's mostly pr...

Re: The Offical Rock Band 3 Thread

ANy more news on RBN 2.0? I haven't seen anything about how the RBN will handle the new instruments and pro. Since it's a new file system for RB3, are midi's still being used for the normal mode and some other form is used for the pro tracks, or is it all new on how it's handled? It's going to be a...
