Maybe it's because the song you are playing on RB2 forces you to strum certain notes (which would usally be HO/POs). And FoFiX doesn't support force HO/PO and force strum (yet). Or the hit window in RB2 is tighter than in FoF. Or the rock meter in FoFiX is really more generous than in RB2. Or you ca...

In the settings go to Quickset and set Gameplay to GH.
Enable Advanced Options, go to Gamplay Settings, then HO/PO Settings and set the HO/PO System to GH2 Strict.
