Re: fofchart.com updates
Thanks for bringing up the charts! I've been wanting to upload my scores for a while. Also, might be a stupid question but, how do I upload to these charts? I can't find the fretsonfire.ini anywhere. Yea, this folder is NOT in the FoFiX default directory. For Win7/Vista, you can find it here: C:\Us...

Try using a previous revision (i.e. Revision 84).

Re: Need help with syncing a song ASAP!
I looked at it and from what I can see, the song can't be synced without making changes to the chart itself or the actual song. I tried syncing it with a different guitar.ogg and it still wouldn't go. Using delay = #, it starts off in sync but then the chart just loses its sync right after.

Re: How make a DL-link
You first have to take the whole song folder, if you have WinRAR, right click, and select "Add to archive...". Then upload that archive. It'll also save you a bit of space.

Re: Need help with syncing a song ASAP!
Maybe add a "delay = insert # here" to the song.ini? You can also alter the length of the song to fit the midi notes. Otherwise, just upload it here and I'm sure someone can sync it up very nicely.

Re: drums on fofix question
You'll need a bluetooth dongle (if the drums are wireless) and a free program called GlovePie with a drum script that can be found around on these forums (I can upload mine if it is needed).

Re: Game error when start!
Get rid of 3.120 entirely and try the latest 3.121 version (py2.4 and py2.6; I'd try both). And maybe try using another theme other than megalight? I would also try going to Nvidia's website and redownload the latest drivers.

Re: Make FoF run smoother
I think other than lowering the graphics in the game (like running in window mode at a smaller resolution, turning anti-aliasing off, turning psyco off as well as shaders), the only way to really get rid of lag entirely is to upgrade your computer with RAM, GPUs, etc. FRAPS always kills your FPS unl...

Re: Help with songs off sync
Go into the song.ini and add the line:
delay = 100 (change this number to be more negative or positive until the notes line up perfectly).
Good luck.

If you have at least Windows Vista Home Premium, maybe try holding down the Windows Key and then Tab and cycling through the open windows?

It may work for most mods. You map the keys in the options under control settings.

Re: New #FretsOnFire IRC Channel
All script suggestions will be implemented soon (probably after my vacation which starts on the 31st) for those who messaged me in the channel with ideas. So, I won't be around as much until I get back after New Year's. There are several new bots that are in the channel that are being tested so just...

Yeah I may have jumped the gun a bit on my post, but I felt like that's what the next post was going to lean towards. Well think of it this way, this could be the Fans to the Offical IRC. That means I get OP, right? I promise I won't delete it. :) I usually OP everybody. If you want it to be perman...

I don't get this mentality...
Why be in a chat/IRC room if you aren't going to speak? It makes no sense just to be like the scenery.
Maybe their busy or something lol.
Plus I like the logs. Happy holidays!
