We don't talk much; we mostly lurk, judge, and sneer at the Clone Hero guys.

Re: - Phase Shift -

I'm sorry if this has ever been addressed or if this is tread is dead but I have been trying for HOURS to get my guitar controller working in PS. I have created a profile. The game finally registers the controller. It works! But when I strum (during songs or when in menus) it registers a bunch of u...

Re: FoFiX 4.0.0 Development Thread

Put in my two cents. Phase Shift development has (publicly) stalled over the past year, so I'm looking to see something fresh soon!

An Android port is quite the undertaking! I'll be monitoring this game.

There's only support for one keyboard (the one you type with), though if you're talking about a keyboard the instrument you can connect as many as your computer can deal with.

I know that feel, bro. I've been in a "battle" with the developers of PS to support this feature since last year.

Re: EOF 1.8b30 - Now with Guitar Hero import

If you can only reproduce it on a specific chart, I may need those files to try to isolate the problem. While watching the video for "Graduate" and comparing it with the note file, I found at least one spot where a "ghost" snare note was written in the chart: 349: GH: Note 127 p...

Re: EOF 1.8b30 - Now with Guitar Hero import

As stated on the PS forums, when I was looking at the .note files in a HEX editor, I could not find any documentation or reverse engineer how ghost notes are notated. I understood that the "bit mask" (a bit of networking lingo for you folks) at the end of a drum note container had informat...

Awesome. I'm excited how well the GH import function is coming along. I can't wait for drum accents, hopefully that feature will come out in the next few releases!

Re: EOF 1.8b23 - Now with slash chord detection

I'm not sure why that would be useful if the proper audio is being used. Is there a particular reason notes would have to be offset to be before the audio? It helps with syncing multitracks. I'll explain why in a little while. *EDIT* I don't like fumbling around with clipping off audio on many diff...
