Re: FoFiX 4.0.0 Development Thread
Quick update. 1) Work is still happening on FoFiX - real life has unfortunately placed itself in the way as paid work is getting a bit more of a priority than usual from me. So you are aware. That said, I've made a bunch of local commits to enable some menu mouse usage, which I think is pretty cool....

Re: Working nights.
Couple things: Sleep when you can - especially if you're working daytime hours too. I've never had a problem staying up late (say until 3 am or so), so I can't say much about that - but overnights really kill you if you don't have a reasonable schedule established. 10-6 to 12-8 are the worst shifts....

Re: DJ Hero THEME AND SONG PACK ( I want help for this ! )
Do what you want with the MIDs/songs. For what it's worth, if we ever get around to incorporating the effects switch, it really wouldn't be all that difficult to add support for a 'turntable' track.

Re: Theme Help - Modifying KiD's Rockband 2
Ive only done some minor changes, although i do feel that they are important still for my own use. 1. If there is a songs folder in the FoFiX directory, it will automatically use that rather than prompting. I felt that the old dialog was very un-userfriendly 2. I made it so that it is truly portabl...

Re: FoFiX 4.0.0 Development Thread
r2011 does some Lobby work. Theme mechanics: In your theme folder, any images that you place in a "lobby" subfolder will be loaded. The following files are supported in the default theme render - NONE are required: ⋅ background.png - background image ⋅ panel.png - the b...

Re: Should we include some (properly licensed) songs with FoFiX?
not even rockband has that lol and over half the people that develop the game are in a band lol ...and i'm sure a lot of the people that contribute to this forum are musicians as well. If there's any interest in this I'll talk to a few friends about some brainstorm/jam sessions to that end. If anyb...

Re: FoFiX 4.0.0 Development Thread
In the new lobby code is there a way for you to use images for the difficulty level, or is there any images that are usable for the new lobby? im just wondering There are - in fact any image put in the [theme]/setlist/parts folder will be loaded for that screen - but none are displayed yet beyond '...

Re: Emotional Gaming Moments
A bunch of the ones mentioned here I agree with. Here are a few more - most of them aren't really sad, but simply emotional. Mother 3. That whole game is pretty sad... Either the sunflower scene or the end of the game are even more so. Suikoden 2 - again, much of it. Waiting for Jowy outside Muse, t...

Re: FoFiX 4.0.0 Development Thread
Good New Year (less than 24h) I hope FoFiX 4 will be released today at 11:59 PM :P Well, Happy New Year('s Eve) to you all as well - FoFiX 4 probably won't be coming out just today... This decade was not cool enough for FoFiX 4 anyway. However I just upped a redone ControlChoose/Lobby/Setlist/Part ...

Re: FoFiX v3.121 Released
Hello there. I'm having a problem that I've been trying to solve myself since 3.120 Final came out, but with no good results. The problem is simply that I can't get Lefty Mode on drums working (on guitar it works though?). Such a generic feature missing makes me wonder if I've been the only one wit...

Re: EOF 1.62
If you can throw out what EOF needs for that I can make 4.0 work - I've been meaning to dig through your source and old FoFiX (I think I remember there being some comment about EOF in there) to find out but I've not really had the time. I think the problem is the new profile and instrument selectio...

Re: EOF 1.62
FoFiX 3.100 Final works. I don't think anything newer than that works. If you can throw out what EOF needs for that I can make 4.0 work - I've been meaning to dig through your source and old FoFiX (I think I remember there being some comment about EOF in there) to find out but I've not really had t...

Re: Question I HAVE to POST...
EXACTLY...... is there a workaround perhaps? A way to remove profile selections from the game? A way to modify that? Or maybe.... just maybe.. since im such a newbie poster around these parts, someone a little more familiar with the inner workings of this place can pass along the info to one whom a...
