@death_au if you want to run fofix/py2.6 on a machine, which hasn't installed the MSVC08 runtimes, you could copy Microsoft.VC90.CRT.manifest and msvcr90.dll to fofix's root dir and into the data dir (it's an ugly solution though, i still prefer to install the runtime librarys globaly on the machine...
